Outside the Office

Frank's first airplane ride came in the 1970s, when he was about five years old: his father put him in a small plane with a friend, and the friend took him up. Frank has wanted to fly ever since. Years later, when he earned his own pilot's license, his first passenger was his father. Today Frank flies Cessna 172s, the classic four-seat airplane, and serves as president of a member-run flying club, where he dedicates much of his spare time.
